JAMES WASHINGON was a standout receiver on Stamford’s back-to-back state championship football teams in 2012 and 2013. He also played on the Bulldogs’ state runner-up basketball team. Washington had a prolific career as a wide receiver at Oklahoma State, where he won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver in 2017. Washington earned two 1st team all-Big 12 selections and finished his career as OSU’s career receiving yards leader and as the second most productive receiver in the history of the Big 12. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers and played four seasons for the Steelers and briefly for the Dallas Cowboys.
