The deadline to apply for one of 12 $1,000 scholarships from the Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame’s is fast approaching. Graduating high school seniors have until April 1 to submit their scholarship application through the Community Foundation of Abilene’s website.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Varsity Athletes from the Big Country who are in the top 25% of their graduating class.
• Attend High School in one of the following counties: Brown, Callahan, Coleman,
Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry
• Participated in Varsity level sports your junior and senior years
• A Varsity coach recommendation is required for this scholarship
