Oris Greever

Greever of Abilene is the sixth recipient of the Lifetime Achievement for Officiating.  He was a member of the Abilene chapter of the Southwest Football Officials Association from 1953-76.  He worked regional and state championships in every classification and also officiated in the Lone Star Conference for five years.  He was a member of the first Abilene chapter crew to officiate the annual Abilene High/Cooper cross-town showdown in 1976 and was also selected to work cross-town rivalries in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland and Odessa.  Deceased
