L.J. Collier, Munday, has enjoyed a remarkable career that has culminated into a productive NFL career. As a junior at Munday, he was named the Defensive MVP of the state championship football. In that game, he recorded six tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and returned an interception for a touchdown in leading the Moguls to the state title. He was named the District 8-1A Defensive MVP as a senior and then signed with TCU. As a redshirt freshman at TCU, Collier had 4.5 sacks and blocked a field goal against Georgia in the 2016 Liberty Bowl. He had 4.5 sacks again in a win over Stanford in the 2017 Alamo Bowl and then closed out his career with a sack in TCU’s win over California in the Cheeze-It-Bowl. Collier was a first round in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, and started all 16 games at defensive end in 2020 for the Seahawks. He signed as a free agent with the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 and has totaled 72 tackles, 6.5 sacks and one fumble recovery.
