Bill Little
Little, who grew up in Winters, has been the voice and face of Texas Longhorns’ sports for more than 30 years as sports information director and associate athletic director. He also did play-by-play for Texas baseball on the radio and is the author of several books about the history of the Texas Longhorns. (Deceased)
Bill Little passed away on August 18, 2023 in Austin, TX at the age of 81. Little worked at the University of Texas for over 45 years and is recognized as one of the foremost historians of Longhorn athletics. He was inducted into the Texas Hall of Honor in 1993.
