Ray Hudson

Hudson was the fifth recipient of the Lifetime Achievement for Officiating in the Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame, joining Curly Hays, Shorty Lawson, Bill Voss and Moose Stovall.  Hudson spent 38 years (1961-1999) officiating football and basketball on both the high school and college level.  He was the Abilene chapter secretary for 15 years.  For years, he worked junior high games on Wednesdays, JV games on Thursdays, high school games on Friday and college games on Saturday.  Deceased
